A laminar flow hood is a blower hood designed to prevent contamination present in the air (bacteria, other spores, etc.). Air passes through a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter, then is diffused in a laminar flow towards the mycologist.

Thank you for the quick delivery and the additional gift :-) The packaging was very well wrapped for protection. Despite of that the delivery company has made a little damage to the cover of the laminar flow... however they managed that (maybe threw it out of an airplane...).
